Pro-Val vinyl gloves are an economical option for hand protection in lower risk environments. Vinyl gloves are latex free and have a slightly looser fit than other materials, but provide good protection from oils, fats and greases and are commonly used throughout the food service and manufacturing industries. Lightly Powdered or Powder Free Disposable vinyl gloves are available lightly powdered or powder free. A light coating of cornstarch powder on the inside of the glove makes them easier to put on and also assists in the absorption of sweat. Powder free vinyl gloves are treated with a solution to make the inside of the glove slightly more slippery in order to make them a bit easier to put on in the absence of powder. This treatment is more expensive than using powder, and therefore usually results in powder free gloves bearing a slightly higher price tag.
